Rag '67

Oscar Film Unit

Documenting Rag Week 1967, Battersea, London

From its opening certification by the British Board Of Sanitary Inspectors onwards, this manages to be both documentary of the final days of the university in Battersea and humorous testament to the ingenuity, inventiveness and - let's face it - spectacularly short skirts of London students in the Swinging Sixties. Unquestionably a fascinating time capsule.

Year of production: 1967.
Runtime: 18 minutes.
Silent. Colour.

This film is taken from the Oscar Film Unit Gold Anthology DVD, which is available free of charge to ex-members of OFU.
